Below is a list of our programs that you can donate towards.
Your donation will be used for the program most in need. We are grateful for your generosity to HIV/AIDS affected Tanzanian children and families.
What is a micro-loan? It is a small amount of money that can be used as the first step to financial sustainability for a Tanzanian family. Pamoja Project’s Microloan Program offers small loans and free money management training to grandparents raising AIDs orphans, people living with HIV/AIDS, and other local persons interested in beginning small scale income generating activities from a local, grassroots source.
Specifying a monthly gift to the Pamoja Project makes it easy to demonstrate your commitment to improving the lives of Tanzanian children and families impacted by HIV/AIDS.
THREADS, the Tailoring Training Program, is a center established by the Pamoja Project and WAMATA that trains 20 out-of-school 14-20 year old AIDS orphans annually in tailoring as a means to supporting themselves with a healthy trade. Graduates receive a small one year loan for a sewing machine and accessories, but remain connected to the center as they establish their own clientele. To date, 60 young women have received the education they need to support themselves into the future.
